Sea Song Label is a small independent label based in Kanagawa, Japan, led by Ryohei Ameda. It brings together music (Wool Strings), coffee (feather village coffee), publishing (Waterwheel Press), and app development — activities that may look separate at first glance, but grow from the same place. Sea Song Labelは、神奈川県を拠点にRyohei Amedaが主宰する、小さなインディペンデントレーベルです。 音楽（Wool Strings）、コーヒー（feather village coffee）、出版（Waterwheel Press）、アプリ開発—— 一見バラバラに見えるそれぞれの活動が、同じ場所から生まれて、つながっています。
The label began as Wool Strings' music activity, around 2008. Since then, several releases have come out on CD and cassette, alongside a handful of self-organized live shows. In 2025 came hand-roasted coffee, and that autumn, a free paper. Cassette tapes, printed paper, coffee packages, and more — we care about things you can hold, and about leaving a little space in life for those things. レーベルの原点は、2008年頃に始めたWool Stringsの音楽活動です。 その後、CDやカセットテープの形でいくつもの音源をリリースしたり、いくつかのライブを主催してきました。 2025年にコーヒーの自家焙煎と販売を、同じ年の秋にフリーペーパーの発行を始めました。 カセットテープ、紙、コーヒーのパッケージなど——手にとれる「モノ」として世界に残すこと、 そして暮らしの空間をそのモノたちに少しだけ分けておくことを大切にしています。
A connection that started with music becomes coffee, then a picture on a page, then words, sometimes an app in the making — and then returns as new music. We keep this circulation going — slowly, like a waterwheel turning. 音楽から始まった縁が、コーヒーになり、紙面の絵になり、言葉になり、時にアプリの開発につながったり、そしてまた新しい音楽に戻っていく。 そんな循環を、水車がゆっくり回るように続けています。
We'll relocate to Yokohama, the city I was born in, and build a small port-like place wrapped in the scent of coffee, in music, in pictures, and in many kinds of words. A place where records play, where small concerts and readings happen, where pictures, books, and handcrafts sit side by side — a place with a wide open door. 生まれ故郷である横浜の地に移転。コーヒーの香りや音楽や様々な絵、言葉に包まれた小さな港のような場所を作ることです。 レコードが鳴っていて、ささやかな音楽会や朗読会が開かれて、絵や本や手仕事が並んでいる。 そんな間口の広い場所を目指しています。
